LAKE FOREST, Ill. – Trustmark, a national employee benefits provider, is pleased to have earned recognition from the Chicago Tribune as a Chicago Top Workplaces 2020 Award winner.
The honor is based 100 percent on a third-party survey administered by employee engagement technology partner Energage, LLC. The survey measures 15 drivers of engaged culture that are critical to success such as connection, alignment and execution. Trustmark associates took the survey in early July; all responses were anonymous.
“A big part of what makes this so special is that this was 100 percent employee-driven,” said Kevin Slawin, Trustmark’s CEO and President. “We have a caring culture, and that’s a testament to our associates, who are what makes Trustmark stand out.”
Trustmark associates have rallied around each other since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in March. The majority of associates currently work remotely. Those who have remained at office locations have diligently followed safety protocols.
“We moved quickly and with purpose to keep our associates safe while delivering the service our members, clients and brokers count on,” Slawin said. “This shared commitment, to ourselves and our clients, speaks to the best of what we have here at Trustmark.”
