Ana Kumar Joins Trustmark as Vice President of Software Engineering & Platforms, IT

Ana Kumar has joined Trustmark in the newly created position of Vice President of Software Engineering & Platforms, IT. She reports to Chief Information Officer Brad Bodell.

In her new position, Kumar will work with Trustmark’s business units, Client Technology Solutions and Enterprise Architecture to deliver key business objectives. She will provide technical leadership and strategic guidance on application solutions, architectures, integration strategies, governance, quality assurance and business support processes.

Prior to joining Trustmark, Kumar served as Senior Director of Software Engineering at Collective Health, a San Francisco-based company that offers an integrated benefits administration solution for self-funded employers.

Prior to Collective Health, Kumar worked more than a decade in various technology leadership roles for Fortune-50 managed care companies including Anthem and Humana. There she directed and delivered complex software programs for the commercial and Medicare national market of health plan business. Prior to that, she worked for Kindred on their proprietary electronic medical record (EMR) system and for JPMorgan and First Data in technology-lead architect roles. Her career journey began in software development.
