Trustmark believes the heart of our business is our people, so we make sure to hire the best individuals to serve our clients. Norm Smeltzer, the new Regional Sales Director the Mid-Atlantics territory is no exception. We are excited to welcome him to the Trustmark team!
Prior to his career, Norm graduated from Penn State University. Upon graduating, Norm entered into the insurance industry and has since accumulated over 18+ years on expertise, with notable experience at Cigna, Allstate, and Independence Blue Cross. His diverse experience across major carriers positions him well to contribute immediately and help us continue to grow in this important region.
Outside of work, Norm resides in Gilbertsville, PA with his wife and four children. When they’re not busy with baseball, softball, field hockey, or ice hockey, they enjoy spending time outdoors, including trips down the Jersey shore, hiking, fishing, and golfing.
Norm is excited to engage in conversations about the Trustmark brand and how he can create value for his brokers, consultants, and enrollment partners with voluntary benefits solutions. We are happy to welcome him to the Trustmark family!
